The Diamond Hard formulation resists daily wear and tear and protects your furniture, doors, and skirting boards against scuffs, scratches and spills. It's easy to apply, and dry in only 20 minutes so your home won't be left out of action. Available in a range of colours including Beech, Antique Pine, Birch and Oak to suit your piece of furniture or door.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be varnished is clean and free from any dust, dirt and grease that may affect adhesion.
- Remove any old wax, grease, dirt and oil by cleaning the surface with white spirit.
- Sand with a 120 grit sandpaper to leave a smooth and even surface, ensure to remove any peeling, flaking or loose old finishes.
- Remove any dust with a damp cloth and allow to fully dry.
Application
We recommend performing a test to ensure compatibility with the surface to be varnished, always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Stir the varnish to ensure a smooth consistency.
- Apply an even layer of the varnish using a brush and working in the direction of the wood grain.
- Allow to dry for one hour, and apply a further 2 coats.
- Before applying the final coat, sand down the surface and wipe away the dust.
Aftercare & Storage
Cleaning
Clean up any spills as soon as possible and give the surface a general clean on a regular basis.
Repair
Any damaged sections sand until smooth and apply a few coats of varnish.
